General Information:

It is important during this time that we refer to trusted websites. Highfields recommends the following two websites:

In line with NHS advice (in the link above), when school is open we will continue to send home any students who present with the following symptoms:

  • a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
  • a new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly

We will then follow these steps: Coronavirus COVID-19 Outbreak Protocol – Sept 2020

We will update this webpage if anything changes. We will also be sending out updates via text message – it is important school are made aware if you have recently changed your phone number.

What happens if an outbreak occurs at Highfields?

At Highfields, should an outbreak occur, we will follow a number of steps as advised by Public Health England: Coronavirus COVID-19 Outbreak Protocol – Sept 2020
